el mes de DICIEMBRE DEL 2010 en el museo de arte contemporaneo de laciudad de MORELIA, MICHOACAN MEXICO.

POLYGONAL reune el trabajo de distintos artistas alrededor del mundo para presentarlos en un sitio geografico en particular ( en este caso la ciuda de MORELIA, MEXICO)los trabajos estan enfocados al video y el uso de las distintas plataformas que brinda la red (youtube,vimeo) para mostrar las piezas.
La propuesta es mostrar las posibilidades de relocalización del arte dentro y fuera del museo en diálogo con una realidad actual, en que se acercan los lugares más lejanos y las redes de conexión están cambiando los valores de la presencia por las virtudes de la accesibilidad.
POLYGONAL se desarrollara fuera del museo, tratando de expandirse a otros sitios de la ciudad, se presentaran las piezas en ciber-cafes irrumpiendo de forma espontanea y presentada al publico que en ese momento se encuentre ahi, se rentaran toda las computadoras y se correran simultaneamente las piezas en las maquinas.
El Museo de Arte Contemporaneo de Morelia serviara unicamente como aparto de registro forografico de las acciones y esta pagina servira tambien como medio de registro de video e imagenes.

the month of December 2010 at the Museum of Contemporary Art in the city of Morelia, Michoacan MEXICO.

POLYGONAL brings together the work of different artists around the world for display in a particular geographic site (in this case the city of Morelia, MEXICO).
these works are focused on video and using different platforms provided by the network (youtube, vimeo) to display the pieces.
The purpose is to experiment whit the possibilities of relocation of art inside and outside the museum in dialogue with a present reality, they approach the most remote and the connection networks are changing the values in the presence of the virtues of accessibility.
POLYGONAL be developed outside the museum, trying to expand to other spaces in the city, the pieces will be presented in cyber-cafes spontaneously bursting presented to the public at that time is there, the idea is rent all the computers and the pieces will run simultaneously on the machines.
The Museum of Contemporary Art in Morelia appliance served only as a photographic record of the actions and this site also served as a means of recording video and images.
